Students work collaboratively across time, space, and culture to investigate topics relating to the global refugee crisis and evolving migratory trends. Their research culminates in the inaugural PBI Global Summit Showcase, being held at Suzhou North America High School on May 30, 2018, at which cross-cultural student teams will present their research findings and multimodal products.

Purpose
The purpose of the PBI Global Summit 2018 is to bring together students from SNA and Wake STEM Early College High School onsite at SNA to conduct a PBI Global on one of the global issues targeted by the United Nations.
Rationale
As our world become increasingly interconnected and complex, global challenges need to be addressed through multinational efforts. Students participating in the inaugural PBI Global Summit 2018 will have the opportunity to use inquiry-based learning practices to develop solutions to a pressing global issue in multicultural, collaborative teams, modeling a way forward for the world at-large.
